Lauper Family Reunion - 2005

The 2005 Lauper Family Reunion was held in Hacienda Heights, California, at the home of Marc & Mimi Lauper. Approximatley 65 family members from far and wide were in attendance. An new swimming pool and spa were the main attractions for the young and old alike. Mimi prepared a sit-down breakfast for early birds and then a delicious lunch. The theme was Hawaiian, with lots of decorations and good food. Some of those in attendance were also very interested in Marc's pet tortoises. The two mail tortoises were brought our of their pens and put on quiate a show of pushing, shoving and fighting. Many family members brought items for hygiene kits that were prepared and sent to the Church Humanitarian Services in Salt Lake City. Several quilts were also finished during the day and forwarded to Salt Lake City. Many family members who have not been with us in recent years also attended. A good time was enjoyed by all.
