- Young Julius Sorensen
- 1885? @ Salt Lake City
- Julius Sorensen
- Brother to Maria Sorensen. Seems to be about age 20. Only inscription on back is "Moder", meaning "mother"; apparently gifted to his mother, Else.
- Infant Heber Sorensen
- 1892? @ Salt Lake City
- Heber Sorensen
- Nothing written on back, but album page says "Julius' son Heber", thus the nephew of Maria Sorensen. Born 1891.
- Sorensen child?
- 1890's @ Salt Lake City
- Not identified. Perhaps another of Julius Sorensen's children (he had nine from 1891 to 1908)
- Minnie Sorensen Olsen
- 1880's @ Salt Lake City
- Minnie (C. K. Wilhemine) Sorensen Olsen
- Album page identifies as "Grandma's Aunt Minnie Olsen". Appears to be in twenties (although she is said to have always looked young for her age.)
- Olsen Children
- 1899? @ Idaho?
- Violet, Mabel and Ervin Olsen
- Inscribed on back "to cousin Emma", most likely from her Aunt Minnie Olsen. Album page indicates "Violet, Mabel and Irving Olsen". Eldest is Violet, born 1894. In spite of dress, the youngest would appear to be James Ervin, born in 1898. They lived at the time in Salem, Idaho.
- Olsen child?
- 1902? @ Idaho?
- Ella Olsen?
- Nothing identifies this photo. Perhaps it is another of Minnie Sorensen Olsen's children. (Ella, born 1902?)
- Niels Peterson & ?
- 1902? @ Montana?
- Niels Peterson
- Maria Sorensen's first son. Nothing written on back, but page has arrow pointing to standing figure with "Nels". The seated man is unknown. Niels appears to be in early twenties (compared to his wedding photo at age 29 in 1907). Perhaps this photo was taken just prior to his visit and his gifting of the album in October of 1902. The border of the photo indicates that it was taken by Imperial Studio in Anaconda, Montana.
- Infant Serge Lauper
- 1902 @ Lehi, Utah
- Serge Lauper
- Inscribed on back in French: "Serge James Lauper à l'âge de 6 mois. Né le 28 de Août 1901. Poids 20½ livres. Emile Lauper" [...at the age of 6 months. Born the 28th of August 1901. Weight 20.5 lbs.] As reported, the Lauper children were "scandalized" by this "nude" picture. Viola indicates that her father insisted on this photograph as he was so proud of his healthy young son!
- Alice Lauper Pernoux
- 1902? @ Nyon, Switzerland
- Alice Lauper Pernoux Phillips
- Sister of Emile Lauper. There are no indications on the photo of when, only where, it was taken. She appears to be in early twenties; in 1902, she would be 21, and already a widow. Possibly taken at same time as daughter's 6-month photo.
- Liliane Pernoux
- 1902 @ Nyon, Switzerland
- Liliane Pernoux Anderson
- Daughter of Alice Lauper and her late husband, Louis Pernoux. Born in April and appears to be no more than 6 months.
- Jens Jacobsen and ?
- 18xx? @ Mt. Pleasant, Utah
- Jens Jacobsen
- No identification on photo; Jens is recognized from another photo. He is (2nd) husband to Else Nielsen, and she his 2nd wife. They married in 1887 at Moroni. Photographed by Nephi Howarth of at Mt. Pleasant, Utah (8 miles from Moroni)(Howarth listed in the 1880 census as a photographer in Mt. Pleasant). On the back there are two annotations in large, penciled scrawl: "Mrs. Annie Jacobsen, half mile north of the post office, east[?], Moroni" and "5 east of main[?]". Apparently this photograph was mailed? The identify of woman is a mystery. (The photo currently is in a slot labeled "Grandma and Aunt Anna", but this is because the this photo has been replaced in the wrong slot after being removed. The photo previously in that spot is no longer in the album. Is this possibly Jens first wife, Maren Madsen, 9 years his senior and who died in 1887?)
- Unknown Couple
- 18xx? @ Horsens, Denmark
- Rasmussens?
- No clues, other than place of picture. Viola has a feeling that this is the couple with whom Emma's half-brother Niels emigrated. At some point in the past she also left a separate note in the album saying "These people were Rasmussens, relatives of Emma, but not direct ancestry."
- Album Music Box
- 2004 @ Danville, California
- A partial pane of isenglass remains.
